Thank You General Moeen U. Ahmed
January 9, 2008 – 5:25 pm1/11 is known to be one of the brightest day in Bangladesh’s history. The military stepped in, backing up the caretaker government, to stop the violence and crimes in the lawlessness land of what we know as our beloved country of Bangladesh.
A lot of top politicians up to 170-200 we arrested and detained even to this day to stand trial and face the punishments for the charges of corruption. The former prime ministers Sheik Hasina and Khaleda Zia were arrested without warning, which shouldn’t surprise them since they knew they committed acts of treason by stealing money from the nation’s treasury. Awami League supporters are complaining and protesting to release their pitiful goddess Sheik Hasina; it’s ridiculous that these people can’t function without her.

General Moeen U. Ahmed
General Moeen Ahmed is a military personnel and as a military personnel he feels the pride of his country, which is the same as General Pervez Musharraf of Pakistan. General Musharraf has done a lot of good things for Pakistan and he has put a lot of reforms for his country to improve; we see General Ahmed doing the same things. Buildings which were built on government land illegally are demolished without question, sudden arrest for anyone who attempts to bribe or takes any bribes, the judicial branch are free from executive powers so justice can prevail are all done under the influence of the general.
He visited the United Kingdom and the United States few months ago and he made it clear of his goals and how he is NOT going to get into politics. Watch the videos below. Conference provided by Jago Bangladesh.

What’s wrong with you bloggers?
A lot of people, especially other bloggers on the net are against the general for his aggressive crack down on the corrupt politicians and his aggressive repair on the image of Bangladesh. I don’t understand what’s their problem. The world backs up the current government for the good deeds they are doing. Was Bangladesh better under Awami League and BNP? NO, it was not; it was a war zone fought by the two political dynasties. After Khaleda Zia and Sheik Hasina ends their rule, their sons, Tareque Rahman and Sajeeb Wazed, were to take charge of the parties; so far it looks like a dynastic style of rule, doesn’t it?. If we let these two parties gain power again then we are no better than Pakistan, as our political party system will resemble the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) with the Bhutto dynasty ruling based on kinship. So, I don’t understand what you bloggers are trying to promote, peace or chaos for our beautiful mother country? You people need to realize that in order for a country to be prosperous, law and order must prevail.
Improving Bangladesh
Bangladesh is becoming a better nation day by day. The only down fall is the rise of food prices, which will be taken care of. Most likely external forces are behind this since a lot of the food comes from India; an increase in one thing can lead to the increase in something else. The food prices don’t rise up all of a sudden unless some group of people are trying to undermine the respectable military. Hopefully the military will quickly lower the food costs down to stable prices.
Never Let AL and BNP Rise Again

| Khaleda Zia (Left) and Sheik Hasina (Right) |
After 15 years of misrule the Awami League and the Bangladesh National Party are finally getting what they deserve. If the AL or BNP ever take power again then they will make sure that the anti-corruption movement will never happen again. These two parties will destroy the caretaker government or they will polarize it by assigning people on the caretaker seats favoring them. We should never support these corrupt people and we should never let them govern the good Bangladeshis. Hasina and Zia should never return to politics because they have proved themselves unworthy to rule.
Awami League should especially not rise since all they due is kiss up to India. Anytime there are foreign business prospects looking towards investing in Bangladesh, India does her best sway them away to invest in India instead, and Sheik Hasina supports it. Awami League is also known to be funded by the corrupt Indian Federation government to keep the Bangladeshis at bay. It makes sense why Awami League is so loyal to India since Sheik Mujibur Rahman was so close to Indra Ghandi and why the AL is so aggressively secular.

| Mr. Ten Percent, Tareque Rahman |
The BNP must not rise due to “Mr. Ten Percent”; Tareque Rahman, Khaleda Zia’s son, who stole hundreds of millions of dollars from the businesses in Bangladesh through threats and violence. Rahman got his name as “Mr. Ten Percent” due to his threats he gave to all business owners in Bangladesh. When BNP was in power all businesses were to pay him 10% of their profits otherwise their family members would be kidnapped, their businesses would be closed or confiscated, or the business owner would be killed. If BNP rises again then Rahman will be released and his reign of terror will start all over again. Rahman tried several attempts to escape the country but unfortunately for him all domestic and foreign Airlines were ordered not let him fly anywhere. Gladly the coward was caught in his mother’s home. Currently he is going through torture while the authorities are interrogating him. Even though I am not in favor of torturing prisoners, Rahman deserves all the pain he’s getting for making the good Bangladeshi people suffer. It’s also said that Rahman demanded huge comissions from foreign investors in order for them to get permission to do businesses in Bangladesh. Perhaps that’s why many foreign investors avoided Bangladesh and went to India.
Improving the Economy
General Ahmed has his eye on aggressively expanding the country’s economy. About 3/4 of Bangladesh’s foreign exchange are earned from the country’s textile and garment units but to manage those industries foreigners from India, Pakistan and other nations are hired to manage them, which is ridiculous. General Ahmed asked “Bangladesh began garment manufacturing in 1978… Even after 30 years why do we have to bring foreign people to manage our businesses?” As you can see General Ahmed wants to be less dependent on foreigners so Bangldeshis can run their own businesses and prosper. There are many other positive things that the government has done, and I wonder why Bangladeshi observers are too quick to criticize the proud general.
This January 11th will be the one year anniversary since our respectable military took the extra effort and began to clean up the dirty bureaucracy. I am proud to be a Bangladeshi and I scream “Bangladesh Zindabad!”

This is a just inspiring to see the new-generation of ‘Deshis’ talk about the ‘truth’.

@Bangladesh-Blogger: Thank you, yes the probashi Bangladeshis will rise to help the beloved country.
@Imrul: I agree, democracy is better than military rule, but wake up! If we don’t clean Bangladesh’s government of it’s dirty politics than our country will only get worse. If General Ahmed can make Bangladeshis feel safer and bring order to the country than why not. Foreign investors are glad that the military moved in. Tareq Rahman wouldn’t let any significant business function without his cut, and that’s ridiculous. Rahman killed so many people and he brought terror. When BNP and AL were in power I was embarrassed to say I’m from Bangladesh; AL licks India’s ass and gives away Bangladesh’s resources to India, while BNP terrorizes and steals so much money from the innocent Bangladeshis.
A country without law and order will only destroy itself, and history shows it. We need the military for a little bit and General Moeen Ahmed does not want Bangladesh to be a mirror of Pakistan so there is a chance the elections may take place earlier than scheduled.
