Indo-Bangla-Pak Music Combination

November 9, 2007 – 12:59 am

From the northern Montreal province of Canda three guys are jamming with their indian, western urban mix of music. These guys are down to earth people who have done everything by themselves from composing, to recording, to marketing their album. These guys are none other than the Bilz featuring Kashif.

Even though Master D speaks Bengali and DJ Vicious speaks Malayalam, they both use Urdu/Hindi in their music. By using Hindi/Urdu as their medium in their music they are reaching the main stream desi media, which is very smart.

Who are these guys?
The Bilz is a band composed of DJ Vicious and Master D, and they have Kashif as their main singer. What’s so special about these guys is their effort to work together regardless of where they are from. Master D is Bengali, DJ Vicious is from Kerala-South India, and Kashif is Pakistani. They are a very diverse group of desis working together and composing some incredible music so, we can only expect some great work from them.

The following is a video with Master D (with the guitar) and Kashif singing “Mere Khayaalon Mein” while DJ Vicious video records.

So step aside Punjabi MC, let these guys rise. Visit them on theBilz.com.
