Hindi Song Sung in Boishakhi Mela UK
February 19, 2008 – 9:37 pmRefering to my previous post about Hindustani (Hindi/Urdu) having more influence over Bangla, the Bengalis in UK have a stronger influence of it.
Now in melas and other special Bangla functions, Hindustani songs are composed and performed by Bengalis. The following song’s name is called “Haire Meri Jaan” performed in Boishakhi Mela 2007 in UK. It sounds amature, but it still sounds good and creative.

i was there that all bloody sheet becoz they dont have actual ideology about the bangladeshi culture urban life style, why they dont copy any pop song from bangladeshi artist,wht they choose from panjabi culture that was not even popular that much, why should not they choose something rich from bangla culture,obviously there are so many things to do,i think these people are unware of their identity,or they dont bother it,otherwise their parents dont knw what they should do in foreign land with their kids,
this is really very sad situation for among all bangladeshis, they call bangla language as adhakaiya basha,n they laught on it, wht kind of language it is!!!
we should more united in one language and one land, good luck to all bangladeshis who loves their mother land

@Zia: I don’t know why you’re being mad at them for. They are just performing from observing the best type of Desi entertainment. Most pop songs from Bangladesh sounds disgusting and they do not appeal to the youth. The fault goes to the talentless singers of the Bangladesh.
How many Bangla songs can you name that you can dance to??? Not many, probably less than 50. One of the most popular one is Krishno by Habib and Kaya. Not only that, Hindi songs have a wide range of audiences which gives the performers who sings Hindi songs more popularity and fame.
